The Elgin Experience Movie Meeting for April 14, 2009

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday April 14, 2009 - Marcus Theater 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:30 am - Meeting begins at 10:00 am.

You will be enjoying a selection of pipe organ, grand piano and electronic organ      melodies prior to the beginning of our program in anticipation of our next trip “Keyboard Pops Concert” at the Rialto Square Theatre on Saturday April 25, 2009. We only have 3 seats left, so please sign up at our reservation table after the movie and secure your slot!!  The evening includes dinner at White Fence Farm where we will be enjoying “The World’s Greatest Chicken”.  Don’t miss this one!! We look forward to you traveling with us!

Our presentation will be by Garrett Rawson and Steve Frazier - the Marcus Fox Theatre managers.  They will take us behind the scenes and show us “How Projection Works”.

The movies that will be shown at the movie meeting are:

1.  Fast & Furious - Rated PG-13. Run time 1:39         Cast: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle  Rodriguez - Genre: Action/Adventure, Suspense/Thriller

2.  Knowing - PG-13. Run time 1:55     Cast: Nicholas Cage, Rose Byrne, Chandler Canterbury Genre:  Drama, Suspense/Thriller

3.  Duplicity - PG-13. Run time 2:05    Cast: Julia Roberts, Clive Owen, Tom Wilkinson - Genre:  Comedy

4.  Special Presentation of a Classic (1950) Film - Harvey - Not Rated. Run time 1:45 .  Cast: James Stewart - Genre: Comedy

We will also be collecting donation items of canned goods and paper products for The Lighthouse Food Pantry.

Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, doughnut and the chance to be one of our door prize winners.  The cost is $2.00 per person.
