The Elgin Experience Monthly Movie Meeting for March 9, 2010

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday March 9, 2010 - Marcus Theatre 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:15 AM - Meeting begins at 10:00 AM

Our presentation will be by Linda Tischler (Concert Artist) and Eric Abernethy (Wellness Expert) of the Music Education Centers of America, Inc.  They will be speaking on “The Joy of Music Making”.

We will be collecting donation items of canned goods and paper products for Centro de Informacion.

Membership is NOT  required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, donut and the chance to be one of our several door prize winners.  The cost is $2.00 per person.

The movies we will be offering this month are:

1.  Cop Out
 
Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, and Paul is his “partner-against-crime” whose preoccupation with his wife’s alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.

The Elgin Experience Movie Meeting for April 14, 2009

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday April 14, 2009 - Marcus Theater 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:30 am - Meeting begins at 10:00 am.

You will be enjoying a selection of pipe organ, grand piano and electronic organ      melodies prior to the beginning of our program in anticipation of our next trip “Keyboard Pops Concert” at the Rialto Square Theatre on Saturday April 25, 2009. We only have 3 seats left, so please sign up at our reservation table after the movie and secure your slot!!  The evening includes dinner at White Fence Farm where we will be enjoying “The World’s Greatest Chicken”.  Don’t miss this one!!
