The Elgin Experience Movie Meeting for June 9, 2009
The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday June 9, 2009 - Marcus Theater 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL
Doors open at 9:30 am - Meeting begins at 10:00 am.
Our presentation will be on The Gail Borden Library - “A New Look Inside”.
The movies that will be shown at the movie meeting are:
1. UP - Rated PG - Runtime: 1 hr. 36 min. Opened May 29, 2009. Cast: Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai.
Genre: Action/Adventure, Animated, Comedy, Family.
2. My Life in Ruins - Rated PG-13 - Runtime: 1 hr. 36 min. Opens June 5, 2009. Cast: Nia Vardalos, Richard Dreyfuss, Maria Adanez.
Genre: Comedy, Romance
3. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - Rated PG - Runtime 1 hr. 45 min. Opened May 22, 2009. Cast: Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Amy Adams
Genre: Action/Adventure, Comedy, SciFi/Fantasy
4. Special Presentation of a Classic (1942) Film
Casablanca
Cast: Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman
Rated: PG for mild violence. Won 3 Oscars, Including Best Picture. Runtime is 1 hr. 42 min.
Genre: Drama - Set in unoccupied Africa during the early days of World War II: An American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications.
We will be accepting donation items of canned goods and paper products for The Community Crisis Center.
Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, donut and the chance to be one of our several door prize winners. The cost is $2.00 per person.
