The Elgin Experience Monthly Movie Meeting for February 9, 2010

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday February 9, 2010 - Marcus Theatre 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:15 AM - Meeting begins at 10:00 AM

Our presentation will be by Dr. Sundararaj Cherala - a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist on staff at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin.  He will be speaking on LOW BACK PAIN.

We will be collecting donation items of canned goods and paper products for the Salvation Army.

Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, donut and the chance to be one of our several door prize winners.  The cost is $2.00 per person.

Our choices for the February 9^th Movie Meeting are:

 

1.         Extraordinary Measures

Rated: PG for thematic material, language and a mild suggestive moment

Runtime: 1 hr. 46 min

Genre: Drama

2.         An Education

Rated: PG-13 for mature thematic material involving sexual content,    and for smoking

Cast:  Peter Sarsgaard, Carey Mulligan, Alfred Molina, Rosamund Pike, Dominic Cooper

 

 

3.         Edge of Darkness

Rated: R for strong bloody violence and language

Runtime: 1 hr. 48 min.

Genre: Drama, Thriller

Cast:  Mel Gibson, Ray Winstone, Danny Huston, Bojana Novakovic, Shawn Roberts

 

4.         1957 Classic – An Affair to Remember

Not Rated

Runtime: 1 hr. 59 min.

Genre: Romance

Cast:  CaryGrant, Deborah Kerr, Richard Denning, NevaPatterson, Cathleen Nesbitt
