The Elgin Experience Monthly Movie Meeting for December 8, 2009

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday December 8, 2009 - Marcus Theatre 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:15 am - Meeting begins at 10:00 am.

We have a special holiday presentation by the Chamber Choral of Larkin High School.  They will be performing several of our Holiday Favorites.

We will be collecting donation items of canned goods and paper products for the South Elgin Food Pantry.

Also, the Community Crisis Center will be the recipient of this year’s Care-To-Share Program by Elgin State Bank.  They would appreciate Children’s Books, $20 Meijer Gift Cards and Bath & Body products.

Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, donut and the chance to be one of our several door prize winners.  The cost is $2.00 per person.

The movies we will be offering this month are:

1.  The Blind Side - Rated PG-13, 2 hr. 6 min. - Drama

      Cast: Sandra Bullock, Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw, Ray McKinnon, Quinton Aaron

2.  Everybody’s Fine - Rated PG-13, 1 hr. 27 min. - Comedy

      Cast:  Robert DeNiro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, Sam Rockwell

3.  Old Dogs - Rated PG-13, 1 hr. 28 min. - Comedy, Parenthood 

     Cast: John Travolta, Robin Williams, Kelly Preston, Seth Green, Ella Bleu Travolta

If you would prefer to view a classic holiday film we will also be showing the 1954

White Christmas - Not rated - 2 hrs. Family/Musical

      Cast: Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera Ellen, Dean Jagger
