The Elgin Experience Movie Meeting for March 10, 2009

The monthly movie meeting is on Tuesday March 10, 2009 – Marcus Theater 111 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL

Doors open at 9:30 am – Meeting begins at 10:00 am.

In anticipation of a long awaited spring, we have arranged to have a very special presentation of a seasonal classic film for you this month. We will be showing Irving Berlin’s 1948 classic EASTER PARADE  with Fred Astaire and Judy Garland.  We hope you will enjoy this classic hailed as the happiest musical ever made.  Runtime is 1 hr 47 min.

If the classic isn’t for you we also have:

• Confessions of a Shopaholic – Rated PG. 1 hr 52 min.

           Cast: Isla Fisher, Hugh Dancy, Krysten Ritter – Genre: Drama

• The Reader – Rated R. 2 hr 2 min.

           Cast:  Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes, David Kross – Genre: Drama/Romance

We will feature – Joe Runde of Runde’s Landscape Contractors who will be presenting ideas for “CREATIVE LANDSCAPING”.

We will also be collecting donation items of canned goods and paper products for the Centro de Informacion.

Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring a friend along and enjoy a cup of coffee, doughnut and the chance to be one of our several door prize winners.  The cost is $2.00 per person.
